Join us for a special afternoon of training at The Hive featuring guest instructor Scott Burr, a 3rd-degree black belt under Rickson Gracie.
This focused seminar will explore practical jiu-jitsu concepts, movement principles, and technical insights in a hands-on environment designed for both newer and experienced practitioners.

About Guest Instructor Scott Burr:
Scott Burr is a 3rd-degree black belt professor of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and the first person to earn the rank of black belt under Steve Maxwell, who himself was the first American black belt under Relson Gracie. Scott received his professor bars and first two black belt degrees from Steve Maxwell, and his third degree from Master Rickson Gracie.
He is also a 2nd-degree black belt in Kodokan Judo, a 1st-degree black belt in Kuk Sul Do, and has trained extensively in Western boxing, Muay Thai, and submission grappling.
A longtime training partner and assistant to Steve Maxwell, Scott has traveled nationally and internationally assisting at seminars in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, mobility, kettlebells, breathwork, and physical culture, and has appeared in many instructional videos for both Steve Maxwell and Rickson Gracie.
Since founding Enclave Jiu-Jitsu in 2019, Scott has taught classes, private lessons, and seminars to students of all ranks across the country. His teaching emphasizes clarity of concept, practical effectiveness, and deep understanding of the art.
